Meet The Chef 

I’m Mali, the founder and visionary behind The Pink Apron Chef. I’m a passionate culinary professional with a mission to show that food can be both healthful and delicious. My journey started with a love for cooking sparked when I was a kid participating in programs like the Edible Schoolyard Project and hanging out in the vibrant kitchen of my family’s vegan cafe.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University, where I honed my skills in creating meals that meet diverse dietary needs. Whether crafting gluten-free menus, preparing vegan delights, designing performance-enhancing meals for athletes or managing other special dietary requirements, my goal is to create inclusive, satisfying meals that bring joy and wellness to the table.

At The Pink Apron Chef, I specialize in personal chef services, private classes, meal prep for individuals with special dietary needs, and small-event catering. With experience in managing special events, handling high-stakes food-service operations, and designing creative menus, I’m dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences tailored to your needs.

Beyond my love for food, I’m committed to influencing community nutrition and helping people build healthier relationships with what they eat. When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me working toward my goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). I can’t wait to share my passion for food with you—one personalized meal at a time.
